Gia wanted me to share this text that she received from her friend Ed before she went to see Dr Rubin today...she thought it was powerful (especially after we saw the oncologist). I finally got a small break to text you. I saw the post yesterday on the good news, but I want you to know that I have increased my prayers towards you. Im reminded The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). (John 10:10 AMP) So what would the thief come in to steal? The good report, peace of mind, your prayer support ... Now is the time to press on even more to prayer. I will not stop until you are 100% free of this cancer. **MEDICAL UPDATE** Gia met with Dr. Rubin (naturopathic oncologist) today to review the blood work. Most of it was back and he was concerned about the amount of circulating tumor cells in her blood. He didnt think she should wait so long for surgery and has contacted Dr. Liu (surgeon) They are supposed to talk and call Gia tomorrow. All these medical opinions are so confusing but Dr. Rubin said a specific prayer would be to pray for decreased tumor cells in the blood and for increased NK cells that search out and kill abnormal cells. So, please help us out with praying!! The news today took some of the wind out of our sails from yesterday, BUT we know God has her in the palm of His hand. We will Keep you posted as we navigate through the ups and downs. Gia also had the MRI today so those results should come back in a day or two and will give them a better idea of what the cancer looks like.
