My learned friend Mr. Rahul Shastri ji answers it brilliantly in a reply to a person who was questioning his stance - Sushil Kumar ji, Neither I, nor Sakshi Maharaj are deciding the matter ... We are only appealing ... especially to potential mothers .. It is women who have to bear the brunt of child bearing .. we all know that ... so they must indeed decide ... About many Indians being in poverty due to this thought process, I wholly agree. I should know... since my family was involved in the family planning movement when you were not even conceived... those were the days, when we had to brave abuse and sticks for propagating family planning ... not like the comfortable propaganda of today ... The problem arises from the asymmetry in population growth ... Hinduism has not only the right to survive but to flourish in the land of its birth ... it is not at all wrong to appeal to Hindus .. especially Hindu women, to help ... We are not forcing anyone to agree .. But we refuse to be browbeaten by psuedo-secular hypcrites into becoming dhimmis in own land, in an undeclared jehad. You can ask, why I have changed my views on this matter ... I will answer in Russi Karanjias words, it is because I do not want to remain a donkey eternally. You have not offended me in the least ... thank you for interacting... and I hope that over time you will come to appreciate my contemporary views on religion .. as I too have .. :)
