ONE FOOT IN MY MOUTH 3/7/14 No 107 Editorial:- The bird table story will be explained when it has been resolved. The suspense is nerve racking. Around The World:- Proof that it`s rubbish to be controlled from Brussels. A proposed new plan from the European Union would see people here in Britain, fined for putting the `wrong` rubbish in our bins and the possibility of fines for breaching the rules. They may even introduce Pay-as-you-Throw charges. One wonders why we tolerate this. Are they going to employ inspectors to go around checking bins? And will British inspectors shop their own countrymen? Or are they going to employ neutral inspectors from other EU countries? Then we have one party, Ukip, who only put themselves up for election so that they could fight to pull Britain out of the EU, but don`t worry, they will be paid, and of course they will take their pensions. Must get your priorities right.
