ONE IN THREE PILOTS FALL ASLEEP : Times of India :Fatigue levels are very high as the duty time limit in a day is of 12 hours & Which includes the bad tiring affect on a Pilot body of 6 to 8 of Pressure cycles in todays scenario of flying culture. As airlines are all over the world trying hard to be more cost efficient , but they forget its affect on Flight safety bCoz of extreme utilisation of Pilots, Overnight Flights , minimum rest period, Bad combination of flights in a week long roster and many Others. The Incidents and accidents graph have risen up. - well.My dear Friends The working on Ground of 12 hours is not tough , as your body doesnt go through with so many pressure cycles ( a combo of brain and body Fatigue occurs ) . But Pilot Body gets tremendously ,a killing effect. Guys. The pilot body moves with the speed of 82 percent of speed of sound with the airplane for hours and hours and it happens for 6 days a week . Not like passengers just for a day or two in a week./month /year or never flown status. Its a Wake up call for Civil Aviation Authorities and The Governments all over World . Have Mercy on Pilots , so as to save millions of passenger lives. To save money in billions and trillions of airlines/Insurance companies , to save Many Governments from severe embarrassments The Best remedy is to Hire More than optimum required Pilots and avoid giving them various management pressures. With good working conditions . Anyways. Friends. Its a Part of a Pilots Life , - Always Hope for the best The Life is precious CHEERS!!!!!! Happy Landings !!
