ONE MONTH FOLLOW UP Its crazy to think that its been one month since Zacharys surgery. I took him to his post surgery appointment and the news was good. His doctor was thrilled with his progress. He said that there are still about 15 stitches in his tongue. Evidentially he used the largest sized stitches they make, so they will still take another 3-4 months to dissolve. It wont be until that time that we see if his tongue goes down any at all in thickness. He estimated that it would go down about 13%. With that said, Z will now need to begin speech therapy to work on sounds with his new tongue. God bless Zachary! God bless all you for loving us through all of this! And as always...Z Berg Rocks!
