The Company currently requires FOR ENTERTAINMENT DEPARTMENT MINI CLUB STAFF Qualifications & Minimum Requirements: Potential Candidates For ENTERTAINMENT DEPARTMENT IN MINI CLUB Bachelors degree in education, recreation or related field from an accredited university or college or the international equivalent. Should have three to five years experience working with large groups of youths ages 5 years -17 years, with resorts, cruiselines, entertainment or recreational industries. . Ability to capture and manage the attention of a large group of children. •A statement that elicits information about the applicants past employment, training, education and personal history, including self-disclosure about any criminal record. Two REFERENCES LETTER, including the most recent one, regarding previous work with children. Evidence of appropriate training and qualification to work directly with children. Consent from an applicant to seek information from the relevant Criminal Records Bureau in their home nation. Working knowledge of computers, internet access and the ability to navigate within a variety of software packages such as Excel, Word and Power Point. Ability to speak ENGLISH LANGUAGE clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests Must meet all physical requirements, including the ability to participate in emergency life-saving drills and required training. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Participates in embarkation procedures by disseminating information regarding the Mini Club Program, Youth Evacuation Plan, and directing and escorting guests to staterooms. Determines the activities to initiate based on the ages and the needs of the children assigned to participate in the scheduled activity. Organizes and leads a variety of established age appropriate activities. Maintains discipline within assigned group to ensure safety precautions are followed. Understanding Hotel Operations ,Teamwork ,Planning for Business Supervising People UnderstandingDifferences ,Supervising Operations, Effective Communication, Adaptability CustomerFocus DrivingforResults. Support the Chief Animator in all entertainment activities and games in lounges, on deck and in ports where appropriate, ashore (beach landings etc). Prepare and take care of all material required for scheduled activities. Advertise by socializing and circulating with Guest all opportunities for Guest involvement in these activities. Listen to requests and comments of Guests, taking positive action to remedy any problems by reporting any problems advised by Guests to the Cruise Director. Be present during embarkation and disembarkation of Guests, offering welcome on board, and good wishes at the end of a cruise Participate in shore excursions in the role of an escort, representing the Company, and offering reassurance, high visibility and socializing to Guests on those excursions.
