ONE SHOULD NOT GIVE UP HIS OWN IDEOLOGY OR PHILOSOPHY IF IT HAS SOME RESEMBLANCE WITH BELIEFS OF ANY POLITICAL PARTY. When many of my critics christen my views as leftist when fail to thwart, surprisingly during my 12 years of writing persistently with progressive outlook, neither Left party nor any trade union in Odisha has invited me personally to attend their function, forget addressing their meeting. Many might have been thinking that my profession makes me think as Left thinks. No, since my school days, progressive, pro-poor and anti-establishment outlook is inherent and embedded in my mind and thought. At that time, I had no idea about Left, but had abhorrence for congress. However, I was not in a position to understand intricacy of politics. I prefer to tread where many fear to stride. As I grew as writer/columnist, sometimes many opponents dubbed me as leftist when they fail abysmally to counteract my views in TV debate. This is more evident in face book recently. If my views have similitude with any party, it means this party has some pro-poor outlook. I should definitely have sympathy whose ideology matches my thought, philosophy. Indeed, this party may or may not implement properly as it requires involvement of human beings who are also susceptible to this tainted society. When many of my critics christen my views as leftist when fail to thwart, surprisingly during my 12 years of writing persistently with progressive outlook, neither Left party nor any trade union in Odisha has invited me personally to attend their function, forget addressing their meeting. . However, many organisation, institutions, channel invites me regularly to speak and reproduce my artcles. Even Swadeshi Jagaran Manch has invited me to deliver talk twice and has reproduced my articles in their journal.
