ONE TRUE GOD Christian Spiritual Stronghold Jesus recites the Old Testament Scriptures; He said…Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one….- Mk 12:29. - If we say that Jesus is God and the Father is God – are we saying we have two gods? Is the Bible teaches two gods? To worship two gods is Pagan, do we worship two gods?Jesus himself put it straight and simple; when He said - I and the Father are one.- Jn 10:30; - here Jesus is talking about to Persons, the Father and the Son--- and he said they are One! Not that the Father is the Son--but the Father is in the Son--- Not that the Son is the Father but the Son is in the Father ---It is written-- (John 17:21)...Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.--- This shows the equality-- the power of Father to fit in the Son and the power of the Son to Fit in the Father! If so, why did Jesus say …”for the Father is greater than I”. Jn 14:28 – Don’t forget what is written in; Phi 2:6 - Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; -- Jesus choose to be lower being found in the nature as man for the sake of salvation. ---Remember when Philip said, Lord, show us the Father... Jesus answered: Dont you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father (Jn 14:9)… why? Because it is written in Col 2:9--- For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form,-- take note of the word Bodily form... then read what is written in; Num 23:19- God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man... - True that God is not a man; a man cannot be God; but don’t limit the power of a Mighty God; He can be a man or anything if He chooses it to be. One true God cannot be equate by human understanding; Cannot be proven by any formula; Cannot be influence by any Number; He is God and He represent Himself as the Father , the Son and the Holy Spirit and He is One True God! He himself have chosen to come to us, don’t remain in distant by your unbelieving heart. God bless you, Amen
