ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!! Mark and I moved to Athens one year ago after living 30 years in South Florida...Moving here was one of the best decisions we ever made! For years I dug my heels in the sand and Mark kept saying it will be fun and you will meet new people and make new friends..and you will still have all your old friends too!.. and we certainly have done just that! From Jesus Calling Devotional : Your relationship with me is meant to be vibrant and challenging, as I invade more and more areas in your life. Do not fear change, for I am making you a new creation, old things will pass away and new things are on the horizon. When you cling to old ways and sameness, you resist My work within you. Embrace all I am trying to do in your life and find security in Me alone. It is so easy to make an idol of routine, finding security within boundaries you build around your life. Ask me to open your eyes so you can find all I have prepared for you in this precious life. .... I pray this speaks to you like it does me. :)
