ONE YEAR ago I started my Rodan+Fields business! If Im being completely honest, I was super scared! I was busy working, keeping up with my kiddos, and just doing my best to keep life in order. I was not sure if I could do it but I trusted my friend Stacey and saw how this was changing her life and thought perhaps, just perhaps, THIS was the vehicle for time and financial freedom we had been praying for…….. This is how I saw it: The two best known dermatologists (Proactiv doctors) in the world were saying to me Heather, here you go..use our products and our brand, our image, our IT department, our website, our shipping department…..marketing materials are all done for you..all we need you to do is WASH YOUR FACE and tell your friends about it. Do that and we will pay you!! WHAT?? SOMEONE IS DOING ALL THAT FOR ME? OK..SWEET!!!! SO, 12 months ago today Aaron told me “I was crazy if I did not give it a shot and I made the promise to myself that I would be all in for one year…… WELL...in one year I was able to replace and now surpass my teaching income and this business has blessed my life on SO many levels that I could have never expected. The crazy thing is...I did this around all the other things in my life. It worked right into my busy schedule! NOW, Im so glad I put my preconceived notions aside and gave it my all for a year. I had NEVER done direct sales and really had some misconceptions (pyramids, party based, etc) about it. Thank goodness I opened my mind! I am not looking back and am SO excited for the future! I simply cant end this post without saying this...Rodan+Fields is about SO MUCH more than GREAT SKINCARE and a GREAT PAYCHECK!! Im going to be honest, it is EVERY BIT of both of those things! BUT its also an awesome sisterhood (with some awesome BROs in the MIX) of SMART, SAVVY, KIND, GIVING, and COMPASSIONATE people that want to see EACH other reach our full potentials! When milestones are met, we celebrate and are so happy for every step of success! It is SOO refreshing! I have made LIFE LONG FRIENDS and we are having a BLAST on this wonderful journey (that is truly just getting started) that started out as a “just maybe THIS is the opportunity to change your life”! So glad I told that little voice that said “You cannot do this” to take a hike and did not miss out on this incredible and fun business!
