ONLY FOR ERASMUS + EVS ACREDITED ORGANISATIONS! CREED Romania invites you to be partners in a EVS project that will be applied next days. We are looking for sending organisations for our project Youth Education through Sport. Title :Youth Education through Sport YES is an EVS project that aims to promote European values and to contribute to a better social inclusion of young people by using Sports and Outdoor Education. For this, EVS volunteers will be hosted in Neamt county, Romania, to practice their European Citizenship, organize and implement Sports and Outdoor activities and become true volunteers for the community. The methods that are going to be applied during the project are consistent with non-formal education and they are ranging from sports, workshops, role play, intercultural presentations, treasure hunt, peer to peer education, flash mob and some other methods that are adequate for the community where we are going. The aim of the project is: To increase the sense of belonging to the European Community for young people in Neamt county and partner community. Specific objectives: To raise awareness of EVS volunteers regarding the European Citizenship and how can it be put to practice; To develop sport and outdoor activities meant to increase the impact of social inclusion work; To involve young people, with fewer opportunities, in sport and education through sport activities related to European awareness. The results of the project will consist of personal development of EVS volunteers, better social inclusion, development of solidarity and tolerance and better understanding of the importance of education through sports and outdoor activities. Start date for activities is September 2014, and end is September 2015.
