Justins P.O.V I looked at her. She wasnt wearing my shirt. She was wearing her kurthi. Her body totally covered. For the first time she was feeling free near me and I spoiled it all. Aranya : Sorry sir . I have been talking too much. I will never repeat it ever again. she had tears in her eyes. I could tell that. Me : Sir? why are you calling me sir now? Aranya replied him standing looking at the ground, She didnt have the nerve to look him into his eye anymore , Because Sir is what I am supposed to call you. Everyone else calls you like that sir. I was shocked. It kind of sounded bad. I accept all the others called me sir. But she never did, she was always confident telling me everything on my face looking in the eye And now she is even afraid to look into my face. I stood up and said , When you have never called me sir , why are you calling me suddenly? Aranya stepped back and she still had tears in her eye Because I am a crew member. Thats it she said lifting her head forcing a smile. I looked at her face . Is this the same girl I called ugly few minutes ago? I have killed her self confidence completely. She isnt Ugly, She is the most incredible thing I have ever came across. It was all my fault. I shouted at her. She told me she didnt like being touched. I must have respected her opinion. I was shocked when she described herself as just a crewmember. It reminded me we have got no bond. She was just working under me, And I didnt like it to be that way. I wanted more from her. Me : Hey its not like that. Aranya : Yeah whatever it is, I forgot. Lets check out the costume files SIR? Of course she didnt forget. Its killing her inside. I dont know how tell her I am sorry. I just dont know how to correct my mistake. Though we didnt share a great bond before I liked it the way it was. The reason I bursted out on her was I was angry because she doesnt see me the way I see her. She is the most incredible girl I have ever met. But I just said harsh words on her face. Me : Are u sure you wanna work now? Aranya : Yes sir. If you want I can do it by myself, I mean all the work. If you want me to I will do it . Me : No I wanna do it together. Aranya : yeah sure sir. We sat on the couch. I was staring at her. Her eyes were different today, Everyday they were radiant and now they are teary. Those eyes which constantly talked to me are no more willing to look at my face. Now she had a real reason to hate me. I could deal with the hate. But its not hate , she is afraid. Its the fear. I donno how to deal with her fear. Me : Aranya ? Aranya : Looked up from the file. Me : I am sorry. Aranya : No sir. Its all okay. so my files almost complete. She said looking away from my face. Me : All okay? You know I am not talking about the files. Aranya : Sir, I said its all okay. Justin : Stop calling me sir. Aranya : yeah sure. she said with a low scared tone. Me : Are you afraid of me? Aranya : No sir. Why would I be afraid of you. Me : I am really really sorry. Please look at me once. Aranya looked at me. with her teared eyes. I knew I screwed up everything. Me : I know you are hating me now. Please cant everything become like before , Pleaaaaaaaaaase? Aranya : Sir, Nothings wrong. I am actually very fine. Me : Stop calling me sir. Please. I dint have the guts to say what I think About her whenever I look at her. My whole body feels like its been put on flames. Of course I cant tell my thoughts. Aranya just nodded her head. Me : You are beautiful. I mean it. Aranya looked me in the eyes. I bet she is dying inside. She isnt allowed to cry or shout here. I mean she is allowed, But I killed her confidence. Me : I swear. I just lost it for a second. You are really beautiful. Aranya : thanks. she said. Of course not believing me. Call a girl ugly and she is gonna believe it for the rest of her life. Before I could say something she said Sir I think I must leave now. Me : what! Its just noon. We didnt even have lunch. Aranya : I am going to the studio. I will have it there Me : Why do you want to go to studio now! Aranya : Because I am getting paid sir. Me : Okay wait lets go, Aranya : No its ok. I will go by myself. Me : we are going to the same destination. So lets go together. Aranya : Sir., Can I ask you something? Me : Yeah. and stop calling me sir. Its so awkward. Aranya : I think I will work by myself. If I have any majoy doubts I will aproach you. Other than that I will work by myself. I was shocked and sad. I asked her You mean we arent going to work together? Aranya : we will. but only sometimes. Now lets get started. I had so many things to say. I thought we could talk in the car ride. We both sat in the car. As soon as she sat she put her seat belt on. That reminded me of teasing her in the past. I missed it. She sat and took out her phone and put her head phones on and closed her eyes. Obviously because she didnt want to talk to me. We reached the studio. She opened the car door and she headed into the studio without even turning back. I looked at her hair, Omygod those soft chestnut curls. They make me want her 10 times more. I loved her curls. Now I mentally kicked myself cuz I insulted her curls too. But infact I loved them. Looking her back was really amusing, the way her long curls move from left to right And shes got the butt, the hips and the narrow waist, Shes got everything I love. She went up by steps, Just bcoz she knows if she took lift she had to go up with me. I went back of her on steps. Me : Aranya! Aranya! Wait Aranya turned back Yeah? Me : Can we eat lunch today together please? We wont be working together anymore anyway, So one lunch? Aranya : Yeah sure she agreed half heartedly. We went to the studio canteen. She ordered herself some Indian dish I dont know. I ordered some chicken nuggets formyself. Me : So? Aranya : So? Me : What else beautiful? Aranya turned back to see if there was someone else, She thought I was calling someone else beautiful. Ghosh I killed her confidence totally. Aranya : Me? Me : Yeah you beautiful. Aranya : Nothing just waiting for the order. Me : I am sorry again. Aranya : I told you I dont even remember a bit of it. I dont hold onto grudges. she said playing with a tissue. Suddenly a Black haired , Muscular guy came. He looked at aranya and said You are aranya right? Aranya looked at him Yeah I am. How do you know? He replied I am Jai. I thought I was the only Indian in this crew. Nice to meet u. Everyone;s been talking about you. Aranya laughed and said Only good things I hope. My insides were already Burning with jealousy . I had to admit. He was muscular , Kind of hot , Tall with basket ball shoulders and He had perfect hair. Yet he couldnt sing. He looked better than me I feel. He observed the turmoil in me Hi mr. Bieber how are you doing sir? I replied him Quite good. Had lunch? Jai shrugged his shoulders and said No will have. Okay I dont want to disturb you guys or something . Bye. talk to you later. Aranya said Bye nice talking to u. I thanked god for it. How can someone talk to aranya when I was there. I am not sharing her with anyone. Not with anyone. I saw her still smiling. Me : Sooo Aranya : Nothing much. Food arrived and we started eating. A waiter came gave us a note. I took it before aranya could reach it. that says Aranya your curls are just so beautiful. I know you want to Thank me for the compliment. So here is my number call me xoxo . I looked at aranya, She knew that note was for her. Who the hell wrote this note! I am gonna peel his skin off. Whats the XOXO thing? Hugs and kisses seriously,, He is dead. Anyone dares to Kiss her and I am gonna shoot him off. She kept staring at the note and finally I gave it to her. She read it and smiled. I have just insulted her curls and some guy gives her a chit. I made her emotionally weak and Now she is gonna get close to him. She saw the number and dailed.I couldnt hear the other side of convo Aranya on phone :- Hey . Oh Jai!!!!!!! You!!! I knew it would be you Idk I just felt you are the only person who found me beautiful of the all she said laughing. Yeah rite. Those curls are stupid okay Yeah I am gonna save it. Haha I am saving it as My admirer Yeah sure. You can call me anytime Bye. No you dont miss me she said laughing more Okay hang up the phone now . She hung up the phone blushing. Common, I could make her blush more than him. This Jai being an Indian is taking advantage of her. I am gonna fire him. What does she mean by admirer. all my insides for burning. Me : So I was saying. Wont we see each other anymore from tomorrow. Aranya : It would be better if we dont see I guess. And you can put your self a beautiful Blond soft haired posh Assistant for yourself. she said laughing. I felt bad. I really felt bad. But she just told what she felt. Me : but arent you going to visit me at least once a day? Aranya : Yeah. While submitting the files, I am gonna come. We completed our lunch. She took her wallet to pay her share. Me : No I am gonna pay for us. Aranya : we are no more US. Let me pay my share. Yeah. Now she really Hated me. She did. She paid her share and she walked away without telling a Bye even. I walked to my room. It was 15 mins since I have seen her And now I felt miserable. I gotta see her anyway. I stood up I didnt even have her number. But I guess she is gunna be with her files near the couches. Yea I went there. She was there.. Somehow I wanted to talk to her and suddenly to my horror I saw Jai comming towards her with two coffees in his hands. He sat next to her she took a coffee and they both drank together. They both were working on those files. If I had gone right back of her. May be I would be helping her not Jai. I observed them from a far distance. they were giggling and laughing.
