ONOFIOK LUKE, KUFRE ETUK & THEIR ASPIRATIONS. I dont have any affiliation with the duo, nor intend to have one, but as a social critic, I guess these lads second term aspirations are in tandem with divinity. The possibility of them losing the forthcoming House of Assembly election is like the biblical analogy of Camel in the eye of a needle. They are in charge of PDP, Youths, women, elders, Monarchs et al in their various state constituencies. I witness an event on Saturday in Uruan where youths, elders, monarchs and women defied the heavy downpour and pledged their readiness to support the second term aspiration of Kufre Etuk, I also could recalled the various endorsement of Nsit Ubium PDP stakeholders on Onofiok luke second term ambition. Both of them have mixed politics with philanthrophy- a development which is rear in 21st century politics. They have provided dividend of democracy even to physically challenged people -A situation I am yet to experience in my constituency. In terms of human development, the duo have toe the same part. In several fora, they have doled out good cars, money and other financial assistance to their constituents. As good and matured christian, they have built churches and also donated evangelism buses to churches. They may not be perfect, but I guess they are as well entitle to the Keys of David. I cant analyse the chances of other second term seekers, but believe you me, Onofiok and Kufre will emerge victorious in the forthcoming Assembly Primaries and election. I am not a fan of the duo, I am a social critic, who believe in criticizing the excesses of government, including that of public office holders. But up till this moment, I cant find any fault in the offices of these lawmakers, though I stand to be corrected with tangible facts devoid of propaganda, blackmail and sentiment laced on spurious accounts. I have also weighed other aspirants from the two state constituencies, but I think it will be a misplaced priority for the duo not to be given a second term mandate. Also PDP may suffer a setback for a very long while as a result of such ignorance. I am not their fan, and I dont think I will ever be. But my conscience have mandated me to say that, they are just too good for a second term ticket and mandate. If tommorrow never come, please know today that Onofiok and Kufre second term ambition, ADIKWA VERY NECCESARY, NDE WO NO! I see one of them becoming the leader of the Sixth assembly, LETS WATCH OUT!
