ONTARIO - Eastern Oregon Center for Independent Living is hosting its annual celebration of the Americans with Disabilities Act, which was signed into law 23 years to make life better and more equal for people with disabilities. The event, ADA Celebration Day will take place July 26, starting at 10 a.m. with a gathering at the Ontario Train Depot for the march to Ontario City Hall. Following a ceremony at city hall, participants will march back to the Train Depot, where there will be food, music, networking and membership meeting. EOCIL is the only state of Oregon accredited resources and advocacy center for people with disabilities in Malheur County and 12 other eastern and central Oregon counties.
