OOOhh. Conflict between the NLC and Yothu Yindi mob. Now thats interesting. What I understand this is, is that them mob want the right to privatize their assets, thru the frame works of communal land ownership (as in the NLC), something they cannot obtain thru Native Title on land under the Land Rights Act. It wont work long term. Its a conflict of interest and what they will find if they continue on this path is the dissemination of the NLC altogether. And that will evolve into a class, even a caste system among black fullas long term. Haves and have nots. Without looking into it too much, thats my assessment. The best way to reconcile it would be to change white policy in terms of how it deals with mob; change the game.
