OOPS MOMENT - Still experimenting on the drop shadows for Orange Blueberry Stripes - BUT - I thought you would get a kick out of this... New panel. Laid in some lightened micaceous iron oxide and charcoal lines as a base to work on. I was going to work in various neutrals with splashes of color. But I spilled the jar of fluid parchment-colored medium. Oops. Decided to work with it. Added all the leftover acrylic mixes I had rejected for the aforementioned drop shadows, and some self-leveling medium (just because it was within reach). Played some, added all the black specs to help transition the lights and darks, then left it (flat) to do its own thing. Worst case - Id just paint over it all. Image 2 is what I found when I woke up this morning. Images 3 and 4 are just some closer shots. What will I do next? Just you wait and see :-) (Note: I like how I originally started so have recreated an almost identical panel.)
