OOU School fees reduction;The struggle so far...... The Ogun state government led by Magician Ibikunle Amosun who has been performing wonders,the only governor that has been building overhead bridges where there are no rivers or any form of water,building bridges where there is hardly traffic gridlock,awarding road contracts worth billions of naira and yet finds it hard to hearken to the voice of OOU students who are vehemently demanding that tertiary education must be affordable to all and sundry,in the face of this struggle,OOU students have tolerated a lot; The attack by pro-state thugs on innocent OOU students who were protesting peacefully at about 4:33pm on Thursday,14th of August 2014 in Abeokuta. The Commissioner of Education(Barrister Segun Odubela) who abused the students of OOU on air,well,we ignored the man who read law and was appointed a commissioner for education by the only man capable of performing magic,ignoring him stemmed from the fact that we all know the least responsible OOUITE does not deserve a father like him,majority of OOUITES told him to park well and we focused on the important and pressing issue at hand. Then to crown it all,the boss of all,the grand magician(SIA) who asked OOUITES to give him a 7 days ultimatum to resolve the issue amicably after exhausting the various methods of magical scope he had planned on using to cajole us at MKO Abiola stadium on Friday,15th of August 2015,but his magical scopes had no effect on the students since their consciousness has been raised to a fire and brimstone level,a day(Saturday,24th of August 2014) after the 7 days ultimatum(23rd of August 2014) elapsed,fierce looking policemen had been stationed at various OOU Campuses to prevent peaceful protests and any form of progressive gathering. Just yesterday,our student-friendly governor went on air to spit words that lacked an iota of truth in it,it was a well orchestrated press briefing as majority of OOUITES watched the drama on OGTV,we never knew our Governor was so good at acting,i think after 2015,when he becomes the former governor of Ogun state,he should consider a career in Nollywood. For OOUITES who have travelled/are travelling back home,when coming back,please bring enough foodstuff as we will be relocating to Abeokuta anytime from now. No amount of propaganda,lies,deceit,aspersion casting can make OOUITES relent,as there is no going back until victory is attained and the first breath of freedom is taken. Aluta till the end!.
