At this juncture,i believe its time to think beyond,time to think deeply and logically without sentiments,we have spent a month at home and gradually,our time and age are both fast running,as we cannot deny the economic reality in Nigeria as regards these two factors in the labour market,the SUG president needs to be mandated by the students populace to use his veto power to take a decision concerning resumption,we can resume and still continue the struggle for affordable education,LASU didnt attain victoria ascerta overnight,victory was attained through persistence,consistence and continuity,it wasnt just a SUG President that came and fought the war overnight,as am sure we can vividly remember that Rome wasnt built in a day,if we resume now,school fees payment will be suspended while negotiations will continue until a logical conclusion is reached,but we will be on red alert,should in case the state tries to bring any form of manipulation to enforce the payment of school fees then decisive actions will be taken with immediate effect,the fact that academic activities are on will make it easier to mobilize for any showdown rather than when most people are in their various homes throwing jabs on facebook,that way,we will be using 1 stone to kill 2 birds,we have fought reasonably and we have attracted public sympathy in Ogun state and Nigeria at large,karma will play its part in our struggle as the power of the proletarian class can never be underestimated in any election. A Yoruba adage says If one is crying,one should not be so lackadaisical not to see.
