OPEN AND BARE Read Hebrews 4: 1-13 ... Nothing in all creation ... (is) God is invisible; Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account (Heb.4 :12-13). The astronomer Prof. Mitchell, one afternoon by his telescope looking at the sunset. Slowly lowered his telescope to follow the big red sun as it disappeared behind the western. An apple orchard, a distant heuwelrug, move into the telescopes field of vision. In one of the apple trees two sons. They are clearly working to steal apples. The picking. The other one down and look around to make sure no one saw them. Twelve kilometers from them, put prof. Mitchell with his powerful telescope on them. He can clearly see every move they make. As far as they can tell, seeing no one. They feel safe. They do not know anyone watching them. We know that Gods all-seeing eyes on us? But what would be the position as Professor. Mitchell recognized the two boys as his own two sons? And this is how we the case. God is our Father. But to all who received Him (Jesus), those who believe in Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God (Joh.1: 12). We conduct our heavenly Father or sorrow, but he rejected us. ... It should not make light of the Lord, your discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, he punishes everyone he accepts as a son. Endure the discipline as education, because God is treating you as sons Is there perhaps a child who is not disciplined by his father (Hebrews 12:6,7). Man, however, not yet Jesus as Saviour, walking under Gods all-seeing eye on dangerous ground. If he was not in time to make his peace with God, through Jesus, who is punished for his sin and the judgment was taken away, as Saviour, he remains under Gods wrath and judgment and is lost. That in all things God sees another advantage for us. He sees our need. (Jesus) saw them cut heavy, for the wind was contrary. At dawn the next morning he came to them walking on the sea ... He immediately spoke to them ..: Rest assured, I am. Do not be afraid. He came to them in the boat, the wind ceased (Mark.6 :47-50). Lord, I know you see me today.
