OPERATION IDEE-HO HO HO After a tough year for my family (the passing of my father), Miracle Horse Rescue & Sanctuary has followed its dream and the entire operation has relocated to Midvale Idaho. My fathers last words to me before he passed were Follow Your Dream. That dream has been accomplished, and the horses all traveled on the Wings of an Angel and with the assistance of Circle L Horse Transport, family and friends we did it. The horses now have the pastures, dad and I spoke about, with so much room to roam. At this time they have not explored it all...but they will. They have their loafing sheds, but do you think they have gone into them? Nope, they are just enjoying the wide open spaces at this point. When the sale of our property in NV went down, it went down in two weeks so we had a big push and no time for dilly dallying. Family and friends pulled together as a team, and over this past week horses were loaded and unloaded in record time. They have all settled in nicely, and they have the beautiful back drop of rolling hills and of course, amazing hay to eat. Rome was not built in a day and we know that we have several years to make it what we want for the horses and for those that know us, know that we will accomplish it. This has been a challenge with many obstacles to overcome but we have done it. We are so happy to give this gift of space and beauty to the horses for Christmas and the remainder of their lives. Miracle Horse Rescue & Sanctuary is a federally recognized 501 C 3 non-profit and an Idaho recognized non-profit corporation. It is the goal of MHR&S to rescue more in the future from going to slaughter but for the time being we must concentrate on getting settled and caring for those that are with us presently.
