OPINIONS WELCOME: Texas booster seat law: Required for children 7 and under unless the child is 4ft 9" and 100 lbs.. Oliver: 8 yrs, 3ft 11"and 45 lbs. Options: 1. Keep him safe, but embarrassed around his 8 yr old friends. If so, what about when he is 10-12 (he will always be very small)? 2. Justify forgo the booster because he is technically of age and possibly risk his safety.
