OPTUS STARTED STRINGING UP PHONE LINES. No doubt about you Jim - TopicsExpress

OPTUS STARTED STRINGING UP PHONE LINES. No doubt about you Jim said after I came home, you know everything and all the places. How did you know what the Indian wanted. Motor I said, stands for motor bike, they use them in the Philippines to taxi people around also. What about Tricycles? They are motor bikes with side carts. You not going to say you want a motor bike or motor bike with a side cart, but you say motor, motor bike with a side cart is called a tricycle or pedicab. What do you mean? Those Rickshaw type of things with a motor cycle or a bicycle rather than some half naked guy pulling it and running full pelt on the road. Exactly I said. Thanks for telling me I’ll keep it in mind. Where did the Indian go to? He went straight to a pub to get drunk and disco for strippers, later to the city and back home right around the Five Ways. Can you help me with something to eat? A loaf of bread, I’ll pay you back. Jim was starving without food. I lent him a loaf of black bread, he thanked me and went to his room for a feed. Letter came from Alyn asking me for little glass chimneys for kerosene lamps. I saw them in the Salvation Army thrift shop earlier but never got them. Following week, when the pension came, I took a bus to Chinatown, bought the whole lot of them, a full carton, got my supplies and went home the same way. I mailed them the same day to her. When the weekend came, a truck of people with wire cable came. I asked who they were and a man said, electrical works. That was a lie. There was a report in the Advertiser that Optus were to string up telephone cables around the place starting in certain areas. They never said Kangaroo Point. It was the first area they started doing. Unauthorised phone calls started coming asking to take over your telephone service driving me crazy. It was Optus mobile telephones and television. I wrote a letter and was published in the Advertiser. After that, the Optus Cell phone shop at Kangaroo Point closed down for good and vanished from the area because instead of getting business by harassing people all the time, they lost business instead.
