ORANGE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL KINDNESS CHALLENGE WEEK During the week of January 27-31, Orange students will participate in a week of activities devoted to maintaining a school community that is safe and caring. The Week of Kindness will remind our students that Kindness Counts! Each grade level will have a checklist of kind acts that students will be challenged to complete by the end of the week. By completing the checklist of acts, our students will prove that kindness is a strength. Activities Include: Grade Level Kindness Challenges Thank You Booth – During recess, students can write a thank you note to a community member such as a police officer, firefighter, mayor, military personnel, etc. Lunch Recess Buddy Bench - Make a new friend and do an activity together. Two Special Dress Days: Wednesday- January 29, 2014 “Crazy Hair” for Kindness Friday- January 31, 2014 “Kindness Rocks” Dress like a “Kind” Rock Star” Thank you in advance for helping us maintain a positive culture at our school.
