ORANGETOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASE FAX PRESS RELEASE NUMBER:15-02 PRESS RELEASE BY:D/Sgt James Sullivan DATE OF INCIDENT:12/31/14 INCIDENT TYPE: Burglary LOCATION OF INCIDENT:327 N. Middletown Rd., Pearl River NY On December 31, 2014, the Smiley Food Mart in Pearl River was burglarized. The suspects entered the establishment by breaking a lock on the side door. Suspects entered the store and removed cash and 20 cartons of cigarettes. Suspects also dragged an ATM from the store and opened it in store parking lot. The ATM had cash removed from it. Orangetown Patrol Officers, Detectives and the RC Sheriffs BCI Unit responded and are continuing the investigation. Please view below surveillance footage.
