ORDINANCE NO. PL-O16 SERIES OF 2014 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE SUPPLEMENTAL GUIDELINES FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PHILHEALTH MATERNITY CARE PACKAGE(MCP) AND NEWBORN CARE PACKAGE(NCP). The Municipal Ordinance aims to support the United Nations Millenium Development Goals(UN-MDGs) of reducing maternal and infant mortality rates through affordable interventions by increasing the existing Maternity Care Package and Newborn Care Package for non-hospital facilities through PhilHealth benefits. This is also seen to promote facilty-based deliveries and ensure completeness of provision of quality newborn care. The guidelines apply to Silang Rural Health Unit Maternity Clinic and all PhilHealth beneficiaries availing this program. PhilHealth membership sponsored(indigent families), individually paying and Overseas Filipino Workers(OFWs) and their legal beneficiaries.
