Oregon by 20+! oregon scoring 40+, winning by 20+. but privately in my head i was thinking big -- a complete demolition job and the Ducks scoring > 50. (which would have been a Rose Bowl record at 50, much less 59) yessssss CHRiSTMaS 2015 came early and those future ex-cons and parole violators who litter the florida state squad -- ha, total no-guts frontrunner wannabully chumps, just as expected -- when their defensive starters flat out QUIT early in the 4th quarter, and got called out for it by the TV announcers, ha no duh! americas poster boy for college serial rapists had his own mark sanchez butt fumble video moment / turnover that went viral forever etc -- as the worst looking unforced fumble-turnover-TD of any year -- This 2014 edition of Jameis Winston had not been anywhere near the transcendent force he had been in during the 2013 national championship run, and when Florida State needed him to deliver in tonights second half -- Winston folded. With his FSU team down by 19 points, and facing a 4th and 5 from the Oregon 30 late in the 3rd quarter, Winston dropped back, rolled right, and then -- in the face of Oregon pressure -- fell backwards and dropped the ball. We knew entering Thursday that we would see the last two Heisman Trophy winners -- and neither Marcus Mariota nor Jameis Winston disappointed. Mariota ran the high-powered, up-tempo Oregon offense with efficiency and composure, particularly in the second half.
