ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT UNIT INTERNSHIP Organisation: Saferworld Closing date: 12 September 2013 Job type: Internship / Volunteer Saferworld is an independent non-government organisation that works to prevent armed violence and create safer communities in which people can lead peaceful and rewarding lives. We have an internship available in our Organisational Development Unit. This position will give the opportunity to play an active role in the development of our work, whilst gaining invaluable work experience within the non-governmental sector. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of ODU, Communications Manager and the software developers to support the continuing development and trialling of our new intranet system as a knowledge management and internal communications tool. The post holder will have a central role in training staff on the use of the system. This is a full time position (37.5 hours). Interns receive the London living wage of £8.55 per hour (gross).
