ORGANIZATIONAL TRUST & EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT = PRODUCTIVITY & SUCCESS Don Peppers posted this article on LinkedIn on Organizational Trust, based on a recent HCI survey. One of the findings dealt with the actions that leaders of an organization think they should take in order to enjoy a higher level of trust. Respondents of the survey were shown a list of leadership actions and asked to choose the three most likely to improve trust in an organization. The top five leadership actions chosen were: 1. Set employees up for success by providing tools, resources and learning opportunities (41%). 2. Provide adequate information around decisions (41%). 3. Seek input prior to making decisions (40%). 4. Consistently act in alignment with the company’s values (35%). 5. Give employees an inspiring, shared purpose to work toward (28%).
