ORGANIZED POWER VERSUS ZEN: 2015 NCAA Football Championship, a poem/ commentary(beta verse) by ELK ( all rights reserved) ===================================== I am trying to stay up and watch football but am getting sleepy but I think this football team battle is like a team of Vince Lombardi (Green Bay Packers football) facing a team of Phil Jackson ( Chicago Bulls during Michael Jordan era)... To me both teams represent being masters of their style Methodical power versus Laid back zen Both know what works for them and both have a different approach that wins for them as well So I guess this game is about execution of the fundamentals as both teams know how to win thru their approach and styles So Ohio State Buckeyes and Oregon Ducks... May the best team win and you both have had outstanding seasons I sorta hope they will expand the playoffs to be more of a sweet 16 format and not 4 teams But being from Wisconsin Badgers nation and from attending 2 Big 10 schools I am probably more for Ohio State I did get to visit their campus while my sister was running track at Wisconsin and it is sorta urban in the middle of Columbus But it was a good game but I fell asleep before it was all over it looks like OSU won and OSU quarterback--- go pro ====== You won the Big 10 Championship and Wisconsin is a really good team and you steamrolled them as is Alabama and Oregon Time to go set up you and your family for some years And if that does not work out then you have a good education and can afford to complete yours in a grad school or be a speaker or a tv analyst So goodbye to the college football season of this year I would like to see them expand the playoffs to 16 teams and not just 4 But I think it is fair to let the teams play After all the top 2 teams were beat in the playoff bowls and the lower ranks ended up in the championship game As for styles of play, I think you have to choose what works for you Systems like Ohio State have did work for Woody Hayes and Bear Bryant and many But the zen like approach got the Chicago Bulls and LA Lakers a lot of championship titles as well So it comes down to skill sets and execution within the style that works best for you which you take into a game But sometimes it is a clash of styles and approaches both of which are time tested and true Sometimes one style will win and other times the other will win as well
