ORGANO GOLD VS VEMMA As far as OG and VEMMA are concerned, both - TopicsExpress

ORGANO GOLD VS VEMMA As far as OG and VEMMA are concerned, both companies are on the Direct Selling News list of top 100 network marketing companies based on yearly sales...both companies are 2 of the fastest growing companies in the industry...both companies have knowledgeable and successful owners...both companies have some great leaders...both companies have some of the biggest checks in the industry being earned, and both companies have a binary pay plan, although there are some critical differences in the way the binary plan is structured in OG that make it less attractive, especially for the average person (Ill cover that in a moment.) And both companies operate internationally, although VEMMA is in more countries. The above is where the similarities end... First, OG is not the only company with a healthy tea and healthy coffee product. There are at least a dozen MLM companies that I can think of with a healthy tea and healthy coffee product, and most of their products are very similar., i.e., Ganoderma.. As far as the coffee wars, youve got Gano Life (formerly Gano Excel), OG, Javita, SoZo, DXN, Edmark, SereniGY, Boresha, VIdaCup, Sisel, Healthy Coffee, just to name a few! In fact, VEMMA is now launching a healthy tea and healthy coffee product. However, it is far different than OGs and others as VEMMAs ParTea and its Coffee Mocha are in ready to drink form and more convenient...no having to boil water, find a cup, have to wait for the product to make itself, etc... By the way, coffee is not the 2nd most widely consumed beverage in the world after water as many OG reps like to promote-tea is! In fact, Starbucks is now making a major move into the Tea market! (Its the reason why VEMMA launched the ParTea product first instead of the coffee version.) nbcnews/business/coffee-giant-starbucks-stirring-new-cup-tea-8C11448355 Second, VEMMA has a more diverse product line, i.e., nutrition, energy, weight loss, childrens health product, etc. Third, VEMMA has won far more product awards than OG in the past 4 years...as far as I know, OG has won no major product awards! VEMMA Mangosteen: Best Overall liquid nutritional and antioxidant health product-Mens Journal magazine Rated #1 MLM liquid health product-Businessforhome.org and judging panel of doctors Recommended by Dr. Oz in Esquire magazine Verve Energy Drink: 2009 Product of the Year-Ms. Fitness magazine Rated #1 MLM Energy Drink-Businessforhome.org and judging panel of doctors Official energy drink of the Phoenix Suns of the NBA Featured on the Dr. Oz show and Dr. Ozs pick as his favorite fatigue fighting/energy booster Verve Bold: 2013 Stevie Award-New Product Launch DSA Award-New Product Launch 2013 Stevie Award-Best New Health Product 2013 Product of the Year Finalist VEMMA Bod-e Burn/Bod-e Shake: 2012 Stevie Award-Favorite New Consumer Product Endorsed by Chris Powell, Americas #1 celebrity fitness trainer and star of Extreme Makeover-Weight Loss Edition In addition, Im aware of no human clinical studies on OGs actual product, whereas VEMMA has them. As far as the compensation plan is concerned, OG has a number of gotchas in their plan. First, in VEMMA, the number of cycles you achieve determines your income and rank. In OG, your rank determines your income and you are capped at each rank! (Its structured very similar to the Mona Vie binary plan in this regard. Huge disadvantage, especially for the new person starting out and for the little guy!) Ranks Representative • Purchased an Organo Gold marketing kit Marketing Associate • Has a Dual and has 50PV for the qualifying month Supervisor • Marketing Associate who has at least 500 PV or has sponsored 3 Promotional Product Packs Consultant • Qualified associate who has sponsored any of 5 Promotional Product Packs or accumulates 1000 PV. • Must maintain 100PV for the qualifying month. Sapphire • $5000 week Dual Team earning potential • 14,000 PGV in Qualifying Month and 100PV • Must have 2 personally enrolled Qualified Consultants on both left and right team. • Qualifying volume subject to the 40% rule. Ruby • $10,000 week Dual Team earning potential • 40,000 PGV in Qualifying month and 200PV • Must have at least 3 personally enrolled Qualified Consultants on both left and right team. • Qualifying volume subject to 40% rule. Emerald • $15,000 week Dual Team earning potential • 80,000 PGV in Qualifying Month and 200PV • Must have 4 personally enrolled Qualified Consultants on both left and right team. • Qualifying Volume subject to the 40% rule. Diamond • $20,000 week Dual Team earning potential • 200,000 PGV in Qualifying month and 200PV • Must have 5 personally enrolled Qualified Consultants on both left and right team. • Qualifying volume subject to the 40% rule. Blue Diamond • $30,000 per week Dual Team earning potential • Qualified Diamond with 500,000 PGV • No less than 100,000 PGV on either dual team side. • Qualifying volume subject to the 40% rule. Black Diamond • $40,000 per wk Dual Team earning potential • Qualified Diamond with 1,000,000 PGV • No less than 200,000 PGV on either dual team side. Qualifying volume subject to the 30% rule. Crown Diamond • $50,000 per week Dual Team earning potential • Qualified Diamond with 2,000,000 PGV • No less than 400,000 PGV on either dual team side. Qualifying volume Subject to the 30% rule. Crown Ambassador • $75,000 per week Dual Team earning potential • Qualified Diamond with 5,000,000 PGV • No less than 1,000,000 PGV on either dual team side. Qualifying volume subject to the 30% rule. *30% rule implies that no more than 30% of the Required Qualification Volume can come from one Personal Enrollment Tree leg. **40% rule implies that no more than 40% of the Required Qualification Volume can come from one Personal Enrollment Tree leg. So, if you were a Sapphire and generated enough volume to earn $10,000, youre only earning $5,000 in the binary of the OG pay plan because your rank determines your income and youre capped at $5,000 in weekly earnings-in VEMMA youd earn the full $10,000! Second, there is no true residual income in the binary in OG as only first time orders and builder packs go into the OG binary plan whereas in VEMMA first orders and re-orders go into the binary plan! In fact, in terms of re-orders, twice the points go into the VEMMA pay plan! In regards to residual income, this is the meat and potatoes and what everyone wants in a compensation plan. Unfortunately, with Organo Gold’s compensation plan, it falls into many “GAME-OVER” clauses which I’ll mention now. Firstly, with a unilevel compensation plan, it doesn’t pay down to INFINITY. “GAME-OVER”. Would you rather get paid down to 9 levels but requires you to reach a certain rank which most people don’t OR would you rather have the opportunity to get paid to infinity on the re-orders? In fact, when it comes to re-orders in VEMMA, twice the amount of points go into the plan! So when you first start out in OG, you will get 5% commissions from the sales from your downline but only down to 3 levels. “GAME-OVER”! Again, you’re not getting all the levels without working for it and you can’t even get all the levels even if you’re a Crown Ambassador Consultant. Here are the ranks you have to try to achieve which most people never do! Marketing Associate, Supervisor, Consultant, Sapphire Consultant, Ruby Consultant, Emerald Consultant, Diamond Consultant, Blue Diamond Consultant, Black Diamond Consultant, Crown Consultant, Crown Ambassador Consultant. WOWWWWWWW… that’s not going to be easy at all! But back to the unilevel, once you reach Sapphire, you then get 4% (not 5% like the first one) on the 4th level, hit Ruby then you get 4% on the 5th, hit Emerald and get 3% (not 5%, not 4% like the ones before) on the 6th level, hit Diamond and get 3% on the 7th, hit Blue Diamond and get 2% (not 5%, not 4%, not 3% like the ones before) on the 8th level, and when you reach Black Diamond you get 1% (not 5%, not 4%, not 3%, not 2% like the ones before) on your 9th level. By the way, if you actually look at what it requires to reach those higher ranks, I think you’ll realize it’s next to impossible. Here is an example of the Blue Diamond (it’s a CRAZY INSANE juggling act!) - Generate at least 200 PQV per calendar month. AND - Accumulate at least 500,000 GQV per calendar month from the sales of your Unilevel organization with no more than 30% of the GQV coming from a single Unilevel leg. AND - Help at least ten (10) of your personally enrolled Distributors become qualified Consultants or above (5-Left Team and 5-Right Team) per calendar month. AND - Generate Dual Team Commissionable Volume (CV) of at least 100,000 on each Dual Team Leg (Left and Right) per month. So why work with a compensation plan that requires you to reach certain ranks in order to increase your income? Simply put, in VEMMA your production determines your income and rank whereas in OG your rank determines your income, and youre limited (capped) at a maximum amount you can earn at each particular rank... As far as matching bonuses in OG, if you qualify at your level, you can make matching bonuses too. But don’t forget that the matching bonuses are paid on the UNILEVEL part of the plan and the unilevel is only based on re-orders. In Organo Gold, you’ll get paid 10% at first on your 1st Generation, and your 1st Generation earned either 5%, 4%, 3%, 2%, or 1% on their unilevel commission so at best, you’re taking 10% of 5%. Id rather earn 10% on the 2 team bonus checks of those I enroll and on those they enroll! Theres much more breakage in the OG pay plan compared to the VEMMA pay plan, especially in the binary portion of the pay plan! Regarding million dollar earners leaving companies, Marc makes it sound like that is something unique to only OG. Nothing could be further from the truth. Case in point: Anthony Powell, one of Herbalifes top distributors and biggest earners for over 22 years (probably earned over $40 million in that time), and for the last 10 years one of the biggest earners in the entire industry, who left a $1-$2 million a year income at Herbalife to join VEMMA! Finally, heres 2 other points: 1) he makes it sound like all this activity in Kenya or Nigeria is going to fall below just one person that he recruits. There are a number of different OG teams recruiting people in Kenya and other countries in Africa, so its not like everything OG has done in Kenya or any other country is going to go below someone he happens to recruit! Furthermore, distributors in OG were recruiting people in Nigeria when I was in Lagos over 2 years ago, and the people they recruited in Nigeria started doing public meetings, selling product, taking peoples money, sending money out of the country, sending money back into the country to pay commissions, etc., all without their products having been approved by NAFDAC in Nigeria, which means theyve been illegally operating in Nigeria for quite a while, at least up until they received NAFDAC approval...they did the same thing in Kenya-sold product, signed people up, took their money, paid commissions, etc., long before they had the necessary product approvals, business licenses, etc., which a number of countries require in order to legally operate in their country. As you know, VEMMA doesnt operate that way-otherwise wed have been doing the same thing in Nigeria more than 2 years ago. Second, youll be lucky to see the American leaders once in a blue moon once theyve spent a few weeks here and have made their initial splash-maybe once a year...Were here on the ground 24/7/365 days a year-they wont be. If theyre going to expand into other African markets, which they claim they are, there will be far bigger and more lucrative markets theyll be spending their time in other than Kenya! Regarding the top checks at OG: First, Shane Morand is one of the co-founders of the company and he is corporate, and Holton Buggs is also corporate. Their income is not just coming from the pay plan! To use their incomes as examples is rather disingenuous, but its a smart marketing strategy because people gravitate to money! That being said, you can bet they got preferred positions and special incentives that help drive their income that nobody else will get, and if someone thinks otherwise, theyre delusional. They would have cut the same type of deal with the company that Clay and I would have negotiated, i.e., positions at the top of the tree, x percent override on company sales, special bonuses, grandfathered in at the top position, etc., all things that nobody else would get, except perhaps a few key leaders they wanted to bring with them from their previous organization or top million $$$ earners from another company they want to recruit. Finally, if someone doesnt acquire the knowledge and develop the skills to succeed in VEMMA, especially considering that VEMMA has human clinical studies, famous physicians like Dr. Oz recommending the product, 3 award winning, #1 rated products, plus 2 new breakthroughs (the new, ready to drink ParTea and Coffee products to compete with OG), a pay plan that is creating some of the biggest checks in the industry and far easier and more lucrative for the new person and little guy compared to the OG plan, around 50 countries to build in, state of the art websites and back office, probably the most advanced mobile marketing platform in the industry, great press coverage in a number of major magazines, etc., than youre not going to acquire the knowledge and develop the skills to succeed in OG either, especially when it doesnt have all of the above like VEMMA does.. Most importantly, VEMMA passes the 6 Parameters test, answers Yes to the key questions regarding company, products, and pay plan, but more importantly, VEMMA is now going through its 3 year window (as is OG), so why leave one to join the other? It would be like trading in a new Rolls Royce just to drive another new Rolls Royce-doesnt make much sense! If either VEMMA didnt have all of the above strong points Ive mentioned and wasnt going through the 3 year window, which is the time period where the big incomes will be earned by a large number of people and fortunes created, or if VEMMA didnt exist, OG would be a company that I would consider joining, but VEMMA does have all of the above strong points as well as perfect timing (3 year window)! Marcs pitch reminds me of the Acres of Diamonds story, but with a twist...a man hears of diamonds being found in another area (another opportunity like OG), so he sells his land (leaves VEMMA) to go in search of diamonds elsewhere, only to find out later that the biggest diamond mine ever discovered was found on the land he once owned and sold! A fortune was sitting underneath him the entire time! Thats analogous to this situation-youre already sitting on top of a fortune (VEMMA), you dont need to go dig elsewhere (OG)! Now isnt the time to lose focus and jump like a grasshopper because someone creates the impression the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. If VEMMA didnt have all of the above and wasnt going through the 3 year window, he might have a point, but VEMMA does have all of the above and then some, so the grass isnt any greener on the other side of the fence! Stay focused and water the grass on your side of the fence and you dont have to worry about whether the grass is greener on the other side of the fence! Hope this helps!
