ORIENTATION # 1216 : AN HISTORICAL MYSTERY WE SHOULD INQUIRE ___________________________________________ One of the great components that establish the drama of human stupidity is indisputably to be found in the fact in which the many seem to not think historically, but rather only personally.. especially when it comes to big existential arguments and beliefs and their inevitable weight of gullibility.. Gullibility is indeed that dynamic through which irrational thinking, (made up by shallow labels and words, hopes and promulgations of nonsenses plus a dramatic lack of intelligent questioning), the psyche tends to take shelter in illusions as a way to escape the necessary deep analysis of the movements of the mind one absolutely requires to not disintegrate and bury his or her intelligence.. Its not just a mere educative problem, cause even when the individuals are eventually very well educated, it seems that to so many of them the problem of gullibility persists psychologically.. There is an obvious equation in which the act of clinging to illusion comes into being from the presence of unfaced confusion.. The more psychological confusion reigns within one psyche, the more the tendency to take shelter in spiritual hopes, religious inventions, mystical acts of believing and all the rest of it, arises.. A non confused mind, willing to think historically, not just according with its own personal story and life, and willing to rationally and intelligently explore the maze of the minds dynamics.. finds, obviously, no interest whatsoever is whatever forms of escapism, whether ideals, spiritualities, mysticism, cult, sect, some sort of political philosophy, new age and obviously religious tricks and illusions.. A mind willing to be the archeologist of itself, of its own confusion, surely decreases the weight of possible stupidity, irrational living and thinking and the tragedy of sinking into the spiral of illogical believing.. This kind of mind is a non abusive psyche, nor conflictual, neither interested in power, greed, consensus, separative values or absurd sentiment of protectiveness and possessiveness toward a particular belief system.. After all, if one looks reasonably and solidly.. going deep into the matter of his or her own belief and existential gullibility, taking the so called new age movement for example.. then one perhaps can see that there is really nothing new in there.. and that rather its all about and inherent in the same desires of salvation, existential change, living in an edge-era of shifts in consciousness and so on.. the same escapes that have been always present in the history of mankind.. and their consequential dissemination of irrational living.. The so called ascension is indeed nothing but the new age version of the christian rapture.. the enlightenment is a personification of the paradise, the so called awakening of consciousness is the old mumbo-jumbo-never-came-into-being so called spiritual growth.. and so on.. The subjects change.. before it was jesus and khrisna, zeus and apollo.. today is the human/alien/hybrid person, the person with more DNA activated, the indigo children and so on.. The names given to illusions change, the broth of non-thinking remains, unfortunately, exactly the same.. and then history repeats itself over and over and over again... Why are we so little interested in the possible evolution of our intelligence without any sort of illusions and conditionings whatsoever .. but rather we cling to our self-manufactured mythologies which then become humanistic conflicts and absurdities ?
