ORIENTATION # 751 : MISERABLE IDENTITARIAN PING PONG OF PSYCHOLOGICAL SYMBOLS ______________________________________ Another thing that should be at school is the investigation on the reason why one, each one of us have the tendency to create a psychological image of himself/herself.. .. Is it not interesting to inquire in this curious fact which seems to involve only man in this planet ? Why does one cultivates, across a certain period of his or her life, the urge to develop an image about himself or herself ? Not just through the todays internet technologies.. but rather along the whole life.. We develop an idea of us.. and such idea is almost entirely dominated by another idea which is the how others see us.. One has the tendency to give a lot of relevance to this idea, to the perception that others have in regard of our image.. It is a curious phenomenon the paradox in which the more individualistic the mind becomes.. the more such mind cares about what other minds think about such mind.. Would you like to buy a Porsche if people are not around and able to see you with your new toy ? Or an expensive dress perhaps ? Or the fashionable telephone maybe? Would you care so badly to share & improve the pictures of where you have been.. almost live.. if no one is there in the world to watch them ? It seems to be innocent to foment a symbol of ourselves to show to the others.. It seems so because it became a part of what we call normality... but that symbol we apply to ourselves contains the germ of dependency due to the condition in which such picture of ourselves is entirely dominated and overtaken by the everlasting ping pong between what we should be .. and what we shouldnt... This silly identitarian ping pong dominates our life indisputably and regardless of the psychosocial platform in which it takes place .. whether spiritual, religious, idealistic, social, communitarian and even among partners .. Isnt it ? In truth this psychological-identitarian-socially conditioned ping pong, which is consider like some sort of normal attitude of the human brain.. is instead one of the bigger distortion and distraction of our modern times: it turns the psyche into a terribly distracted mind .. very often in the act of wasting energies for the most stupid actions.. pervaded by everlasting comparison.. self-pre-judgement and pre-judgement in general.. An elevated act of self intelligence is the act of detecting this attitude, then wholly understand the picture we create of ourselves as a business card to offer to the others .. then dismantling such an useless mask of non-intelligence from our brain liberating intelligence rather then feeding such a poor, miserable and petty normality ... ______________________________________ endoffear.weebly/ jessicamystic
