ORTOM AND HIS SPECIAL VISITORS: Any time hes home they get to know and usually come in their hundreds. Their patience is also legendary. The last time he came his schedule was such that he couldnt see them the first two days. On the third day he personally attended to them. Chief Dr Samuel Ortom, Minister of State, Industry, Trade and Investment, and PDP governorship aspirant in Benue State arranged his visitors in lines on the vacant plot opposite his Judges Quarters, Makurdi residence and gave each person something to take home giving priority to nursing mothers. He deals with these visitors on a regular basis. Chief Dr Ortom says unemployment is the cause and industrialization the cure. The road to his house is crowded any time he is around.
