ORVILLE IS SAFE! PLEASE READ WHAT THE RESCUE POSTED ON HIS THREAD! John Hoffman California Miniature Schnauzer Rescue (CMSR) rescued Orville on December 24. He looks more like a Poodle than a Schnauzer, but he seems to be a very sweet dog. On the other hand, he needs veterinary work. Hell probably need a dental pretty soon, and his back half is largely devoid of hair. We rushed Orville from the shelter to our vet before they closed for the Christmas holiday. They recommended a blood panel but well have to bring Orville back for a blood draw. They couldnt do it yesterday because the lab had already picked up the samples yesterday, they are closed for Chirstmas, and samples must be no older than 24 hours. We did not get any photos of Orville because we had to rush him to his foster before she left for a Christmas eve party. Please pay pledges to CMSR at Paypal address canada@dslextreme or mail a check, payable to CMSR, to 4035 Robin Hill Road, Flintridge, CA 91011. CMSR is a 501(c)(3) organization so donations qualify as charitable contributions under US law. Well try to get photos soon. However, Orville had been extended twice the by OC shelter, we had to get him out yesterday if we were to keep him from being euthanized, and everything was made much more difficult by the fact that is was Christmas eve. It shows respect and gratitude to all the threadworkers and rescue women and is greatly appreciated. Being on these rescue pages for years and years it is such a letdown to have a dog rescued and just fly off the screen with no information for women who have invested time, emotions and want to be assured that only the best is coming for a dog who has literally suffered so much beforehand. On behalf of myself and all the women who work hard on my senior pages for dogs like Orville a heartfelt THANK YOU! Saving the Best for Last - Our Homeless Seniors
