OSAS Is correct: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I pay your electric bill this month (Youre welcome). When is it paid, when I pay it?, or when you realize I do? Your knowledge of that payment has to come after the fact. Its your knowledge of that payment that relieves you of paying it, allows you to pocket the money, and enjoy free (to you) electricity for a month. Now; do you open all the windows, crank the AC down to 45*, and turn on every light and leave em on 24/7? Do you do as you normally do? Do you sit around in the dark to try and conserve energy to please me? The truth is that none of the above make a whit of difference; its already paid. I would be disappointed in choice one or three, I would expect from any normal person choice two, but Im not going to un-pay the bill, regardless. ************************************************************ ....and judgement [sic] from that point onwards was on belief, not sin. SK Kindf like at. The judgment was on sin, the judgment went against it, but Christ took it for us. Our judgments over, the penalty assessed, and the payment made by our Lord. Its not so much that theres a judgment based on whether we believe or not, but that belief allows one to appreciate a judgment already passed and past. The free gift is to all;* belief is how that gifts appropriated, not something that were judged on, per se.** The Lord Jesus bore all judgment that not only was against us, but could ever possibly be rendered contrary to us. Its all over, and he did it all. Theres no judgment against you that can stand, after all, it being God Himself that satisfied His own judgment and justice in regards to that judgment that was against us. _____________________________________________ *Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offense of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. **Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: All who believe in 1 Cor. 15:1-4 are eternally saved. Sealed with the FREE gift of eternal life. Halleuyah!!!
