OSEI KUFFOURS SCATHING AND UNDEMOCRATIC ATTACK ON KWESI - TopicsExpress

OSEI KUFFOURS SCATHING AND UNDEMOCRATIC ATTACK ON KWESI NYANTAKYI I have been following developments and occurrences on the football stage of Ghana on the fringes or sidelines since i am not directly involved in its administration.but i need to say/write here and now that,i respect democratic tendencies and the laws and bye laws of all institutions.democracy is simply a rule of the people,by the people and for the people and above all,the rule of law.any attempt to deviate from these laid down principles shouldnt be countenanced by any right thinking person or group of people.we need to try as much as possible to uphold these things so as to solidify our existence as rational beings. one of ghanas most respected footballers of contemporary times, samuel osei kuffour, who has been variously referred to as the most decorated ghanaian footballer even though i am yet to confirm or delve into, has ventured into an area which i sincerely believe is slippery.kuffour claims nyantakyi has qualified ghana for three senior FIFA world cups which is a plus to him.but on the downside, the last world cup we participated turned sour with all manners of malpractices and lies are being told at the world cup commission of inquiry.local football is virtually on the verge of collapse due to a perceived injustice being perpetuated against alhaji abdul karim grusahs king faisal.for these,if he(kuffour) were nyantakyi,he would resign from the gfa presidency.and if he refuses, the president should damn the consequences and step in to sack him.all i did in this paragraph is just paraphrasing what told tv3 in an interview which is receiving widespread media discussion. the ace former footballer is entitled to his views but he ought to strive extremely hard to be civil in his comments and utterances.i have never sang the praises of nyantakyi but i think kuffours comments are too negative.he has failed the test of fairness or setting an example since he who wants equity must come with clean hands.he should have resigned as a member of the juvenile committee of the gfa over the collapse of colts football in ghana before calling on nyantakyi to resign.if this had preceded his latest outburst,he would have had the moral courage to take on nyatakyi with a clean sheet. i dont think the former bayern munich defender has done much research into the repercussions of such an action by the political head.he is totally oblivious and ignorant of the results.when fifa bans ghana,as a result of government interference, the outcome will be dire.his utterances i presume are borne out extreme passions and emotions or carrying on the diabolic plans of some people.he is being used as the hatchet man of some people.extremely doing things usually lead to negative conclusions.amongst them are as follows: *Ghanaian based footballers wouldnt get winning bonuses which sometimes accrues substantial monies to them *club owners will struggle to raise income as the core fund raiser for clubs i.e. gate procedes will be a dent *the performance of players will dip as a result of inactivity *ghanas rankings will be affected when we are restored by fifa there are other negative effects of any fifa ban which i want readers to add themselves.this is a crossroad we should never dream of getting to.when it happens,we will totally regret and we will turn and blame any president who takes such an action. kuffours ignorance on the workings of fifa also came to the fore and deserves mention in this context and write up.when FIFA bans or suspends ghana as a result of governmental or political interference, they wouldnt restore ghana, unless and until the elected man,i.e. kwesi nyantakyi is restored.by this fifa mandate and power, nyantakyi will come back to haunt us if he is indeed disturbing our football. i am never by this piece or status update claiming nyantakyi is an angel and shouldnt be criticised, but i am more particular about the modus operandi of it.he has his shortfall as a human being and we need to hammer on those for him to right the wrongs.is kuffiur by that statement telling us that any leader facing challenges in leadership position should be hounded out of office?if so,Ghana is facing challenging moments, should we encourage a coup detat on president John mahama before the next election?if we did,we shall be called ghanaian refugees
