OSS-ES Planning Officer - Telenor Pakistan - Islamabad Your typical day at work: -Performing analysis, proposals, evaluation and implementation of OSS &ES solutions, new or CRs/Projects. -Requirement Analysis for customization and development in OSS-ES systems . -Provide Integration Services pf OSS platforms with Element management system and support the integrations. -Performance Analysis and Optimization of the OSS-ES Applications. -Conducting PAT/UAT for new development and implementing handover checklist to newly commissioned Systems,workflows,Apps and service automations. -Follow up the guidelines provided by Line Manager and ensure implementation of the guidelines across the projects. -Vendor management to deliver and design analysis and approval of the proposed changes/expansions in OSS solutions. -To work independently on new technologies implementations/expansions and to work on new technologies with minimum guidance and deliver solution evaluations/proposal -Provide regular updates on development and road blocks / issues to the supervisor. -Build strong expertise, keep up to date to advances in OSS / NMS / Telecom Industry and plan for deployment / migration to Next Generation OSS Systems as per need. -Able to value-add own and others skills/knowledge, experiences and inputs by synthesizing them into pragmatic and applicable strategies and breaking this into actionable roadmaps and specific recommendations and policies. -Familiar with shaping and leading complex strategy projects/programs -Requirement gathering, transformation, translation into technical requirements, development, delivery and operationalization -Vendor management, release cycle management, IT architecture management -Expectations management of stakeholders for services delivery -Preparation and presentation of business cases, project challenges, project milestones etc. Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas: -Knowledge of OSS Applications (preferably HP BTO, HP OpenView, HP TeMIP, HP Service Manager, Performance Management, Inventory Management etc ) -Basic knowledge of databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL.e.tc) -Ability to work in challenging project environment and meet deadlines -Open to change and willing to take up risks and challenges -Optimized service delivery from in-house and external vendors -Maintenance of organizational roadmap of services delivery -Strictly follow-up stakeholders for delivery and objectives achievement -Strong observation and compliance of KPIs -Ensure Telenor wide adherence of Project methodology and portfolio management process Application Deadline: 26-Jun-2014 careers.telenor.pk/Page/Detail/Default.aspx
