OSUN GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION - THE MISSING LINK. Whereas, the acclaimed numerical strength of APC members, according to their freshest registration of their party members a few weeks to the election in the state, was Three Hundred and Fifty-five Thousand, Seven Hundred and Twenty Nine (355,729), Election came, and Aregbesola a sole aspirant of his party who secured 269, 631 YES votes of his party members was only able to score a controversial 397,000 votes. The one million dollar mind bugging question is where were the votes of his party members if indeed it was the electorates that voted for him and if it was the party members that voted for him, where were the votes of the people? I mean artisans, students,Okada riders, transporters, market men and women, civil servants and the rest of them which he claimed he has done so much for, where were their votes? Where were the votes of that great multitude we used to see at his campaign all over the state? Certainly, they couldnt have been the less than forty thousand difference we got here. Upon all KWAM I, Pasuma Alabi,Saheed Osupa and theatre artistes importation and unscrupulous INEC staff illicit assistance ? Upon the release unto him and his party a total of 150,000 ballot papers,Upon all the several millions of Naira doled out to the police in the state that eventually reduced them to mumus all through the election period. Upon all importation of Lagosians, Ejigbo in Abidjan and Oyo ,Edo,States people. Not even Ghana was spared before he could record his highly contentious 397,000 votes. That is a clear certificate of rejection by the people. It is only the INEC that can accept him as their winner. Certainly with the above postulations no sane mind would do. Since after the election,I have been opportune to listen to the people as they blame Omisore and the PDP for not doing enough of under cuttings hence, their losses at the polls. Which means,to discerning minds, Omisore had sincere votes hence he was beaten. If he had done a quarter of what Aregbe did he would have won with a wide margin, whereas if Aregbe didnt do all the evil he did ,he would have lost with an embarrassing wide margin.
