OTHER results for 11 October 14 were: ANGELS 15 - 5 over SK - a similar margin to last week but the right way around this time. Good job Angels :-). PREMIER Men continued their impressive start to the preseason with two wins in a double header. V Pap 4-0 in the first innings, all autos, contributed to a 9-0 result. The second game found our men down 0-4 bottom of the 7th with 2 down. Matt Baxter starts a 2 down rally with a 2-bagger, Aaron Risdon stood firm smashing an auto and the boys take it out 5-4. Very cool and good to see Bandits James Patrick Bolton Dylan Maurice Dedman-Ngahiwi and Connor Bensley all doing well. Meanwhile BANDITS drew 5-5 with a very capable Halswell team. Two down in Halswells last at-bat and the Bandits were ahead 5-3. With Halswell having runners on 1 & 2 they hit a bloopey rodent (not my words, quoted!) over 2nd & in between cf to tie it up. The next batter was Kd, game over. With seven teams in the grade things are looking pretty even.
