OTTAWA SHAMBHALA CENTRE RECENTERING NEWS The lease is now signed for our new Shambhala Centre location at 119 Ross Avenue (at Richmond Road). The focus of the Recentering Project has moved to renovating the space and preparing to move our Centre. On February 23rd, several members attended a kick-off meeting for the second phase of the project: Creating Space. At this meeting, Tejumo Ogouma, Sheila Craig (Project Manager) and Jane Richardson (Lead, Design) presented a slide show to give members a sense of the undertaking. The project is now underway. Demolition of the remaining interior wall and ceiling were completed last week and the space is now waiting for the design to be completed so construction can begin - see posted photos. How exciting! Members and friends are invited to get involved in one of the many aspects of creating our new space.
