OUR BEST IS YET TO COME--AMOSUN Ogun State Governor,Senator Ibikunle Amosun has re-iterated that the various landmark achievements of his administration in three years in office were a tip of the iceberg, saying that, the best is yet to come. Governor Amosun who gave this assurance while observing in an Iftar with the League of Imams and Alfas at the Government House, Oke-Igbein, Abeokuta, ascribed the feats recorded in the last three years to God and the support of the people, revealling that efforts to put raise the bar of modern technologies that will make Ogun rival any commercial capital in the world were in top gear. Our being in office is the grace of God and your prayers. And the only thing we can continue to do to repay you for your support is to continue to work for the state without looking back. With the way we are going, our state will be like any commercial capital in the world. Our light rail that will link all parts of the state and neighbouring states will be fully in place such that you dont need to drive your cars here and there, he noted. The governor further stated that the Ramadan month was an important one for all and sundry to forgive one another, calling for continued supports for the rebuilding mission of the state government. In their separate remarks, the Chief Imams of Ilaro, Ijebuland, as well as Egba and Remoland respectively, lauded the sterling performance of the governor in his three years in office, pointing out that, Senator Amosun with these strides is writing his name with marble which can never be erased. We have never seen these kind of government before. So, we will not shirk in our responsibility to pray for you at all times and give you our full support so that you can go farther in your service to humanity, Imams said.
