OUR CHRISTMAS EVENT: We arent really getting anywhere with some of us wanting it one way, some another, which wont necessarily work of everyone. And some of us not giving an opinion at all. Therefore I really think we need to discus the finish and agree on standard of quality, and each give our chosen printer or supplier a similar dictate regarding finish. As artists, we are all too independant and wanting (needing) to control our own artwork, retaining our own individuality and versatility of the items we offer to agree to one printer, so I want to keep our individuality, which will ensure our cards a charm all of our own. I am therefore going to set the options up on a separate facebook selling page, with each of us being responsible for our own product, regarding production, and we will sell the items on that page and on our own art pages. I have now set a deadline which I hope suits everyone, for posting thier product and ideas, so we can get it going for Oct 1st. We must all agree to print to an acceptable standard, but apart from that, you choose your own printers. I suggest that those who want to do a combi set with other members, agree to the quality and finish; most printers can do varying degrees of quality so it is up to us monitor our own quality control. Anyone who also wants to sell there card as a separate entity ie individually or a set of 6 can also do this. By the time the printing process has been dealt with, it will be closer to end of October and I dont want to cut this too close the festive season as people will by them have already been purchasing thier cards. We need to move forward. I suggest also that those of you in same area may want to discus joining up together with others in same area in regard to printing, but its now up to each of you to present your product as you want it to be. I think post it here first, in event page, as we dont really want it being on show to the general public, and then we will move it over to the selling page, which I will set up in near future.
