OUR COUNTRIES HEALTH CARE IS RIDICULOUS!! So my mother in law comes from California, and Florida can not except out of State Medicare??? What, I thought Medicare was through the entire country!! So here we are at the mercy of our government, waiting for someone (next week) to call to switch her insurance to Florida so she can get home care! She is right out of a home in California, weak, self esteem broken down, skin needs attention from bed sores, because they dont care about our elderly once they are in a home and the attitude of MOST not all of the employees is well if the family doesnt care, why should we then the patients become so depressed being ignored, they eventually they die of a broken heart! Trust me this is the truth, they feel like a burden to everyone, so they shy away! What happen to us that we dont care for our elderly anymore, everyone and everything is a bother! If our children dont teach their children that family cares for family and a home is not the answer, they will find their-selves in a home when their time comes! Lets instill back into our children that the elderly do count as a PERSON, not as a bother!! So what, they need more attention, they are grouchy (you would be to if you were in pain all the time!) they say the wrong thing sometimes (sometimes the brain doesnt work to good and they are from another era) are we that much of a pansy that we cant take it?? Come on!! I cant stand this anymore, I wanna shake our government up! No help for the ELDERLY! Why, what are they teaching us, that it will be a big BURDEN to keep them with family so they can survive on family LOVE, that they dont matter and they gave their life for NOTHING most parents I know, have lived for their children.......its time to pay it back....they changed your diapers and took care of you when you were sick, now its their turn!! Dont put them away, out of sight out of mind! These homes break them down to NOTHING! And they feel like NOTHING AND JUST WANT TO DIE! OK, I am done, thanks for listening, if I got through to one person, then its worth the venting!
