OUR JUNE NEWSLETTER STORY: “I came into the Pregnancy Center with my two daughters, ages 2 and 1, when my husband moved out and left me. I had been given an eviction notice the same day. I was feeling so hopeless and my girls needed clothes and diapers. I felt so broken and so alone. I kept telling myself how stupid I was for the choices I’d made and I knew that God was mad at me and would never forgive me. When I came into the Center, it was so clean and beautiful, I wondered if the women there would even help me. My counselor reminded me of my grandmother that I used to go to church with when I was a little girl. She told me that there is no sin so big that God cannot forgive and forget. I left the Center that day feeling so much better. After my volunteer prayed with me, she gave me more supplies than I even needed. I felt that God might be watching and caring for me after all because He brought me to the Center. My situation is better and a local church has helped to provide housing for us. I still struggle with my failures but God has given me so much. I come to the Center once a month for assistance and my volunteer never gets tired of hearing about my life. It is a wonderful place.” ~ Giselle, age 29
