OUR LADY OF FATIMA UNIVERSITY QUEZON CITY NURSING WEEK DANCE COMPETITION DATE: October 4, 2013 (Friday), 1pm VENUE: NBR Pavillion Registration and Briefing Date: Sept 18, 2013 (Wed), 2pm Room 407 Mechanics: 1. All section from all NCM level are REQUIRED to have a dance group with a minimum of three (3) to a maximum of ten (10) members 2. The members of the groups maybe composed of all males or females, or any combination thereof. 3. Dance routine should be a minimum of three (3) minutes and maximum of five (5) minutes performance. Lacking or exceeding of the allowed time duration will result to point deduction. 4. All songs in the performance piece must be appropriate and suitable for any age. Foul taste in music such as profanity, explicit lyrics will result to point deduction. 5. The dance number must have an accompaniment of any music, which is modern and lively. 6. Folk dances or accompaniment of folk music is not allowed. 7. Groups may wear any costume/attire provided that costumes are decent and secured. 8. The use of pyrotechnic gadgets, a smoke or combustible material as props is not allowed. 9. All participants should conduct themselves in a manner displaying good sportsmanship throughout the competition. Any demonstration of unsportsmanlike conduct will result to disqualification 10. The criteria for judging are the following: a. Choreography (Creativity, Artistry, Style & Originality)-50% b. Execution (Timing & Coordination, Projection & Expression)- 30% c. Costume - 10% d. Audience Impact - 10% Total - 100%
