There is now a soft tissue filler without a needle. It is Liquid Cone Technology and its exclusively available from Rodan and Fields. THIS IS HOW IT WORKS: (for those of us wrinkle nerds who want to know) The flat end of the cone is part of a transdermal patch that is applied to the area of interest (wrinkle). The pointed end is what is in contact w/ the skin. Water in the the skin attracts the active ingredient, HA, (Hylauronic Acid -which is what fillers are made of) then penetrates the skin and plumps up the line. A peptide that stimulates collagen, otherwise too large to penetrate the skin, (say in a cream) is able to come along for the ride with the HA. There are two ingredients to plump; one awesome technology. HA is naturally occurring in your skin but you lose it as you age. Results happen as fast as overnight, but patches are recommended to be used every 3 nights for one month. Results are visible for 12 total weeks! I will keep posting before and afters.
