OUR SERVANT KING (A poem by Andrew Feakin) Into the world Jesus - TopicsExpress

OUR SERVANT KING (A poem by Andrew Feakin) Into the world Jesus came; Nothing did He choose to bring He assumed our weak human nature Its inhumanities capacity for suffering. The Son of the Eternal Father, He became the instant of days Made in the likeness of man That man should declare His praise. He came as a child of the poorest parents He who was set apart. The world could only look and say He didnt have a good start His life was never one of self seeking Of personal glorification Rather it was in its entirety One of voluntary humiliation. They wanted to make Him a King This assuredly He knew But He came to be a servant and to minister Rather than be ministered to.
