OUT OF 2000 PLUS SUBMISSIONS WITH ONLY SPACE FOR 75 FILMS, WE DIDNT GET IN... HOWEVER, The Producers of A.W.A.L. were invited to the BIG party Sept. 24-26th catalinafilm.org/film-tv/ Only a few have received this invite to pitch their project and others. We got this opportunity based on the quality and merit of the film. 3 or 4 films that was not in the fest last year, got the same invite, and got distribution and/or a deal from the invitation. We didnt have a film festival budget because we only raised a lil over 1k for the film. So we are asking for sponsors to get us to the festival so we can get in front of the folks who can give us some advertising dollars and get A.W.A.L. out to the masses. We are not interested in selling the rights! We are interested in some ad support for the film and maybe a budget for the next project. We earned a shot at the round table and now we need to get there.
