OUTDOOR CHILDCARE PRACTITIONERS – P.T. Greenbank Woodland Play is inviting applications to childcare practitioners to join our new and exiting Outdoor Playgroup based at Greenbank Gardens, Clarkston, Glasgow. Hours are flexible, though the playgroup will operate from 12-6, Mon to Fri term times. We are an outdoor setting, so applicants should be passionate about outdoor activities in all weathers. Responsibilities · To provide a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment for children aged 3-5. · To observe, support and plan responsively for the children’s journey of self-discovery, in outdoor environment. · Have a minimum SVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification. · To work well as part of the team and be able to communicate with other staff, children and parents. · Ideally have experience or training in a forest School or similar ethos based education. · Paediatric first aid would also be desirable.
