OUTRAGE Every so often, SAVE OUR BEREA features a DELIGHT and OUTRAGE post where we celebrate the good and criticize the downright ugly. Today we are OUTRAGED by the invasion of the Blue Lagoon park by hordes of taxis with earsplitting music and drunken revelers, who according to the Mercury today, invaded our beachfront over the weekend, kept residents across the river awake all night and who left their empty booze bottles and trash for others to clean up. One of our followers, Susan Arenhold has this to say, We have sent this photograph to the Municipality. This is what our beachfront looks like EVERY Sunday morning. My husband and his friends cycle this route and they are really heartbroken at what they see. We agree. How can people do this? Are there not enough rubbish bins provided? Or do people not care because they are NOT FROM HERE? And what about drinking in a public? Dont our bylaws forbid this? And why did Metro Police not take control of the situation when residents complained?
